Etats-Unis : New York welcomed 50.5 million visitors in 2011
New York City ended up drawing 50.5 million visitors in 2011, up from the estimated 50.2 million that was expected, according to NYC & Company, the city's tourism-marketing agency.
The city said it welcomed 40.2 million domestic and 10.3 million international visitors.
The total of 50.5 million is a 3.5% increase over the 48.8 million visitors in 2010.
Visitor spending reached an estimated $32 billion, up from $31.5 billion in 2010.
